Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering Perdaman Industries' urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities. 
We are currently searching for a Materials Controller to join the Project Ceres team in Perth. The Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the procurement requisition of all parts and materials essential for work orders across the project. You will also be involved in expediting the goods, ensuring swift delivery to the project site and receipting.

Who you are Your focus will include: 
Creation of Purchase Requisitions.
Assist the Site Materials Control activities in accordance with guidelines, process and procedures within SCJV Management System.
As required Liaises with Material/Logistics Coordinator or Logistics service provider as required and ensures that Worksite team are informed in advance of any hazardous goods shipments (by copy of MSD's) and any out of gauge shipments.
Performs receiving of materials and equipment and verifies that goods are in accordance with shipping documents, IRC and materials certification, Purchase Order descriptions and quantities in SAP.
Maintains inventory validity by receipting all materials and equipment in SAP and other project systems.
Receipts materials / equipment in SAP against RNs, maintains up-to-date electronic files of all MRRs and associated documentation such as packing lists and delivery notes, RN's etc.
Assisting both the Commercial and Procurement in day-to-day SAP operations.
Issuing of Delivery Orders to Vendors as required from site.
What you will bring to the team: 
3+ years minimum experience in similar role preferably within on EPC projects.
Previous experience in construction/engineering environment.
Demonstrated practical experience Materials Management systems and databases – in particular SAP.
Tertiary qualification in Materials Management, Logistics, Inventory Control (or similar fields) would be beneficial.
