Whitehaven Coal awards, recognises and celebrates individuals and teams going above and beyond the requirements of their role to deliver excellent outcomes while demonstrating our values of Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Value and Excellence.Position Summary:The Specialist - Master Data Coordinator reporting to the Principal - Asset Systems is responsible for master data management, governance, hygiene, quality reporting and standards for asset management data in SAP and related AM systems within WHC.Responsibilities:Master Data Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data in SAP and related Asset management systems.Data Quality Assurance: Implement processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.System Integration: Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate and harmonize data across systems.Reporting & Analytics: Develop and deliver reports and insights to support business decisions.Training & Support: Provide training to site & users, and troubleshoot SAP and systems-related issues.Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data management practices, including opportunities for automation and process efficiencies in data handling.Support the development of the asset management system and framework for the management of heavy mining assets within Whitehaven, including the asset management policy, objectives and processes to achieve those objectives.Develop and maintain value add and authentic relationships with customer and stakeholder teams to improve asset performance & compliance, and support site improvement initiatives.Actively contribute to building WHC's asset management maturity through leading, implementing and supporting asset systems & engineering initiatives, and discrete bodies of work.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field /or Trade qualified in a mining related area with demonstrated experience in implementation and change management for ERP systems.10 years of experience in SAP and ERP master data management, preferably in the mining industry.Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and data management tools.
