The Opportunity
An exciting role has opened up for a Facility Manager at a well-established aged care residence in Forster, NSW. You'll take charge of daily operations, champion quality care, and lead a dedicated team committed to improving the wellbeing of every resident. This position is all about bringing teams together, maintaining high service standards, ensuring financial sustainability, and guiding the facility through continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team, encouraging professional growth, exceptional care standards, and a supportive workplace culture. Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, from clinical compliance and staffing to resource allocation and resident satisfaction. Financial Stewardship: Work with senior management to prepare and manage budgets, making sure resources are used efficiently without compromising on care. Quality & Compliance: Drive adherence to accreditation requirements, aged care standards, and workplace health and safety regulations, ensuring a secure, welcoming environment for residents and staff. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for enhancement, implement effective changes, and ensure best practices are upheld in all aspects of clinical and operational delivery. About You Tertiary qualifications in Nursing. Proven success in a senior operational management role within aged care or health services. Skilled in leading large teams and managing budgets effectively. Strong grasp of government funding mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, and quality standards in aged care. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. A natural change-leader who thrives in a dynamic setting.
