A kind and loving family in Maroubra are seeking a calm and nurturing nanny to care for their happy and energetic 4yr old boy.
An ideal nanny would be nurturing, calm, happy and friendly.A nanny that loves the outdoors, is open to engaging and having fun and providing stimulating activities which will aid in the child's development.
A nanny who is reliable, responsible, respectful and honest and can follow routines.
Experience working with children with epilepsy and or have training in speech or OT would be advantageous for this role.
The role will consist of picking the child up from daycare, taking him to an activity or to the park then home to assist with the evening routines (play, bath, dinner & getting the child ready for bed, reading a book) and contributing to the smooth running of the household.
The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows – To care for the child- Occasionally the older 8 year old as wellFollow afternoon/evening routines, take to after school activitiesPlay and engage with the childPreschool and afterschool care pick upHomework and Read a bookPreparation of meals and snacks for the child and sometimes help with family meal prepAssist with some light household duties -Generally keeping main areas clean and tidy and putting toys awayGrocery shopping and run errands (occasionally) Contract: Permanent/long term Pay: From $35-40 per hour (Depending on experience) The days and normal hours are:- 2 – 4 days (Nannies choice on days) Afternoon hours 3pm – 6pm
