This role is crafted for those who are ambitious, proven, and ready to compete in the dynamic field of clinical next-generation sequencing marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing ExpertiseDevise and implement a customised marketing strategy that meets the specific needs of the Clinical Science Next Gen Sequencing Division and the Genetic Science Divisions in Australia and New Zealand.
An understanding of the ANZ clinical market, its regulations, and customers in ANZ will be critical to your success.
Make informed decisions based on data points, including portfolio sales, market trends, and strategic direction, to drive both immediate and long-lasting results.Launch impactful marketing campaigns to achieve growth targets and drive key business initiatives, including new product launches.Work with the Regional Marketing Development team to adapt and deploy global and regional campaigns for maximum impact.
Communicate campaign successes and challenges to collaborators.Build relationships with industry bodies to stay ahead of trends and foster key partnerships.Collaborate with the local sales team to provide them with the vital marketing insights and tools for efficient sales performance.Use emails, social media, website content, events, and more to deliver your message to the right customers at the right time.Continuously analyze and report on key campaign metrics, sharing insights and standard methodologies to drive ongoing improvement.Use suitable tools to complete and monitor the success of your campaigns.Effective CommunicationHandle internal communications with the commercial sales team, supplying them with the necessary materials and inspiration to demonstrate in your campaigns in the market.
Collect feedback on campaign success and competitor behavior.Foster positive relationships with the direct marketing team, regional team, and global partners.
Share relevant metrics with the respective teams when necessary.Ensure all campaigns improve and elevate the brand awareness of both the Thermo Fisher brand and our core brands.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Science, preferably in a biological sciences.2-3 years in Marketing, or 5+ years in sales in the scientific industry, with a preference to experience in the clinical marketSuccessful track record of achieving results through and in collaboration with othersHigh level of commercial awareness and strong communication skillsExposure to B2B marketing would be beneficialExperience with working with CRM platforms, eg Salesforce, is advantageousEmployee Benefits:Join our team and take advantage of these great benefits!
