Until now, our founders have largely projected our voice and vision to students, parents, and the world.
However, as Contour MedPrep continues to expand rapidly, the need for a dedicated and creative powerhouse to take charge of marketing has become increasingly apparent.


As a Marketing Specialist, your role will be pivotal in ensuring that Contour MedPrep reaches and engages students across Australia, building a trusted brand in medical preparation.
From lead nurturing through email campaigns to creating seamless marketing funnels, your contributions will play a crucial role in attracting students to our programs.
You'll also be involved in developing and refining our website and social media advertisements, as well as overseeing marketing for all of our in-person events.
We strive to establish our brand as Australia's Leading Medical Preparation Program, and as a Marketing Specialist, you will be instrumental in shaping our outreach and engagement strategies, ensuring we are able to help as many students as possible in their journey to become a doctor or dentist.
Who Are WeContour MedPrep is a leading medical preparation program that currently specialises in comprehensive UCAT and Interview preparation, aiming to empower and support the next generation of healthcare professionals in the highly competitive yet often daunting process of gaining entry into medical school.

Our UCAT course aligns itself with the objective of the UCAT, rigorously training students in the mental abilities and skills of a successful doctor or dentist, through engaging group lessons, comprehensive and abundant resources, live mock exams, 24/7 student support and so much more!
We are extremely committed to innovative and results-driven medical preparation, with industry-first initiatives such as our Live UCAT Testing Centre and student accountability system propelling our 2023 students to an industry-leading median UCAT score of 3040+, one student even setting the world record score of 3590!

Over 3500 students and 100 staff have joined our tutoring services since our founding in 2020.
This year, we have successfully expanded our in-person Live Testing Centres to Brisbane and Sydney, with over 1000 bookings, and hundreds of new enrolments from all over Australia.

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Marketing Specialist to take the lead in managing and nurturing our online presence, as well as overseeing our promotional efforts at in-person events.
As the Marketing Specialist at Contour, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the way we connect with aspiring medical and dental students.
Your responsibilities will range from executing targeted email and text marketing campaigns, to managing leads from our free online resources, and creating comprehensive marketing funnels to ensure maximum engagement.
You'll also oversee our website's development and improvement, optimising it as a hub for information and lead generation.
As part of the role, you'll collaborate closely with our core leadership team, ensuring that our campaigns reflect our values, goals, and the vibrant energy of Contour MedPrep. This role will require you to coordinate the creation of marketing materials for both digital and physical campaigns.
You'll be in charge of ensuring that the design of banners, pamphlets, merchandise, and sales pitches aligns with our brand vision.
Additionally, you will work closely with our team to create compelling and engaging social media content, from eye-catching ad graphics and short videos to Instagram reels and viral social media trends.
Your work will be instrumental in promoting our events and offerings, while deepening our relationship with students and parents.
This role offers both flexibility and the opportunity for growth.
With a hybrid arrangement, there is the flexibility of working remotely but also the opportunity to work in-person with our young and hard-working team at our new Melbourne CBD Office.

We also understand that this role might seem daunting due to the high expectations of taking creative responsibility for the Contour brand, but rest assured, we're dedicated to making sure you're well-prepared from day one.
When you join, you'll be properly onboarded with all the support and personal feedback you need to settle in, and you'll work closely with our leadership team to gain a deep understanding of the voice and personality of our brand.
You'll also be thoroughly introduced to all our CRM software, current marketing and content creation systems and processes, including our support staff and teams that work on graphics design and creatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs our Marketing Specialist, your main tasks will include (but are not limited to):
Campaign Design and Execution: Manage paid digital campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and other relevant platforms to drive engagement, trials, and enrolments. Manage Email & Text Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute email and text marketing campaigns to nurture leads, turning interest into action.
This includes writing copy, managing leads via our CRM, as well as creating and managing sales funnels which increase engagement and conversions. Website Development & Improvement: Liaise with our website development team to design and test different landing pages, ensuring key metrics are tracked and optimised.
This includes improving SEO. Copywriting: Writing convincing copy that captures the Contour brand and increases student engagement with our services.
This involves website copy, social media copy, email/text copy and physical pamphlets as well Running SEM: Assisting with paid marketing campaigns on Google and Bing, writing copy, tracking key metrics and making regular improvements.
Event Marketing: Coordinate the creation and design of banners, pamphlets, marketing pitches, merchandise, and sales funnels for in-person events.
These events include workshops presented at schools, as well as in-person Live UCAT Testing Centres. Social Media Marketing: Oversee Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok marketing campaigns, testing different material and using key metrics to optimise each campaign.
This includes the creation of content schedules for each platform, and the design of creative marketing materials, including ad graphics, short videos, reels, memes, and other social media content.
Capturing the Contour Brand: Ensuring that all visual and written material reflects the Contour brand as a friendly and trustworthy environment for students and their families.
Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with graphic design teams, and social media content creators to create compelling and consistent marketing assets.
Also collaborate with sales teams to ensure marketing efforts are consistent with sales processes. Weekly Reports: Provide a weekly report of insights including statistics such as total spend, leads generated, customer acquisition, results from split tests, and overall advertising strategies being used. Onboarding & Meetings: Complete our comprehensive initial onboarding and training program as you get started in the role.
There will also be ongoing routine meetings and training sessions in both a group and 1-on-1 format, offering you a chance to discuss the progress of projects Expected Work Hours Minimum 15 Hours per week.
Hours may increase or decrease depending on workload. NOTE: The time requirements above are estimates.
There is an option to work more or less than the hours above, depending on your schedule and preference, so just let us know!
Highly Flexible Work Schedule The weekly schedule is flexible (within reason), as for each week, you can set your own availability.

Ideal 98+ ATAR (or Equivalent) ? Completed the UCAT  Hands-on Experience with Facebook/Instagram Paid Ads, Google Ads, SEO, and SEM. NOTE: These are not hard-fast requirements; however, they are favourable to your application.
