About the roleThis Marketing Specialist role sits within the RSL Art Union powerhouse that is responsible for Australia's biggest Prize Home Lottery! Joining a talented, driven and collaborative team of marketers, this position will focus on commercial acquisition, working in partnership with the Marketing Manager – NVIP Customer, to maximise revenue and subscription membership growth efficiently.

Key responsibilities of the position include:Creative strategy:

using your creative flair and working with our in-house creative team to bring to life the content and creative strategy for each campaignCustomer journey:

using your understanding of the customer experience to curate a story arc across a suite of emails that will engage our audienceSelling the dream:

Create marketing campaigns in our owned channels (email/mail/SMS) that are designed to engage and encourage our audience to take action to purchase or join our VIP ClubData mindset:

We are commercial for a cause and everything we do needs to drive revenue for our veterans. You will need to be comfortable interpreting data in excel or using tools like Power BI to analyse campaign performance and support decision makingTeam work:

Building and nurturing a peer network of trusted partnerships both internally and externally with partners contributing to the primary objective of maximising revenue growth efficientlyRegulatory compliance:

Responsible for ensuring that assigned marketing activity complies with internal policies and procedures including data security, legal and compliance and brandEagle eye:

attention to detail to ensure no marketing materials are sent incorrectlyAbout YouWe are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, who is driven and enjoys a collaborative approach. There are a vast and varied number of priorities so we need someone who is organised, has good attention to detail and time management skills. This role also requires:Tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications or closely related field3-4 years' experience managing marketing campaigns for a consumer organisation that meet budget and time constraints and hit revenue KPIs consistentlyProven ability to develop and execute effective campaigns with accountability of implementation from ideation to executionStrategic and analytical orientation, with a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on data insightsAttention to detail of the highest levelProven track record of successful integrated marketing campaignsExceptional time management and organisational skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management experienceAbility to work autonomouslyBenefitsSome organisations say it, but RSL Queensland really means it - you will
