Who you are: We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Marketing Specialist with previous experience in the technology industry, who enjoys working in a multicultural and dynamic environment. What you'll do: As a Marketing Specialist you'll play a critical role in brand activations and ensuring consistency of messaging across all media and campaigns. Acting as a liaison between the business function leaders and marketing, you will assist in the translation of overall business needs into alignment with Geotab's corporate brand strategy. How you'll make an impact: Partner with the regional team and broader organization to support the regional brand campaign strategies, sales pipeline, revenue targets, product launches and overall impact of marketing strategy, and budgets. Drive digital marketing efforts, utilizing advanced techniques in SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and online advertising to increase visibility and engagement across all digital platforms. Provide assistance on special projects and creative campaigns: brainstorming ideas, concepts, writing messaging, maintaining brand alignment, and tracking deliverables. Planning and overseeing the execution of different types of events throughout the APAC region. Collaborate with external agencies and internal departments on creative briefs and support global strategic initiatives, such as creating and localizing landing pages, e-books and PR distribution delivered on time, to specification and on budget. Manage the content calendar, content resource library, newsletter and publishing associated content, optimizing as business requirements evolve. Effectively identify and manage relationships with both new and existing industry associations. Development and maintain processes for activations, including success stories, brand naming, templates, guidelines, and playbooks. Manage and maintain brand guidelines/architecture in collaboration with Content Marketing (tone of voice), Creative Services (visual identity) and Strategic Communications (vision/mission). Facilitate self-organization within our campaign and content workflows and be the liaison for content services requests, routing across the business as appropriate. Analyzing marketing data (e.g. campaign results, click-through, engagement and conversion rates) to help shape future marketing strategies. What you'll bring to this role: 5+ years of experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar positions. Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field. Thorough understanding of branding and marketing principles, integrated marketing and performance analytics and tools. Passionate about brand marketing and content marketing with excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills. Experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the technology industry is an asset. High accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, and highly-organized Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion. Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines. Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including conflict resolution, and relationship management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training. A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization. Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization. Must stay relevant to technology, and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands. Technical competence using workflow tools (WRIKE, Jira), CRMs (Salesforce), social media tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social etc.), Marketing automation tools (Pardot, Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp).
