- Work with Retail Sales Office to sell various investment vehicles including Client-managed derivative trading accounts traded on margin. Assist the Sales staff with complying with local financial industry regulations related to marketing and dealing in Contract-for-Difference products with retail and wholesale customers, while growing the company's client base in a sustainable and compliance-based manner. Specific Responsibilities
Recruiting and training new sales staff Supervising, motivating, and monitoring team performance Assist in developing process improvement, service deliveries and new products Planning of budgets, manpower and departments ongoing needs Maintain excellence in quality standards and improved sales growth Identify risks and improve controls Monitor compliance with AML/CTF legislation, policy, and procedures Maintain a high level of ethical standards, conduct and values Position appropriate products -- through balanced presentations -- to each client's current needs and long-term financial strategy, including sell advice and portfolio planning Meet and/or exceed sales performance minimums on both a quarterly and annual basis Identify and follow-up on all opportunities to establish customer relationships including prospecting, lead utilization, and local market/community involvement Build and maintain strong client network and pipeline through referrals and solicitation of active and prospective client base Responsible for driving branch customer appointments and phone sale opportunities Experience pitching trade ideas and quoting prices and dealing financial contracts to clients wanting to place trades by offering up-to-date, accurate information Ensuring prices through platform are 'at market' and resolving pricing, system issues as they arise Ability to work autonomously in a multinational team culture Compliance Savvy, RG146 qualification is mandatory
Qualifications/Experience Required
8-10 years of investment-based sales and relationship management experience Established track record of results and success in providing advice and consultation as well as sustaining and expanding client relationships Proven success in positioning appropriate solutions and strategies for clients Ability to communicate investment strategies in a clear and concise manner to retail clients and business partners that enables clients to make informed investment decisions Experience presenting solutions to clients and prospects through face-to-face/phone meetings Understanding of current regulatory requirements in the financial industry Proactive team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
