Based at our Elgar Road Campus, Box Hill Casual opportunity available- Full Time Hours Attractive hourly rate $61.33 About the role: An exciting opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Marketing Events Specialist within our highly creative and energetic Marketing team! This opportunity is a casual assignment working over our peak period November- February and would require full time availability. Within your role you will be managing, developing and implementing the delivery of internal and external events to build engagement, corporate awareness, and a student recruitment pipeline that best represents the BHI value propositions. Your role will also consist of implementing student recruitment strategies to attract prospective students and enhance our brand and customer base.
As the Marketing Events Specialist, you will also have the opportunity to manage and deliver wider Box Hill Institute events including staff engagement projects and awareness activities. On a regular basis, you will prepare event briefings and staff information to be disseminated across a number of stakeholder levels as well as utilising your strong analytical skills to evaluate experiences at all activities within events remit and report on competitor activities and continuous improvement opportunities.

Salary for this role is a level PACCT 7.3 casual rate $61.33 per hour.
About You: Tertiary qualification in Business, PR, Communications, Event Management, Marketing or similar Experience within marketing and/or student recruitment and engagement (highly desirable) Knowledge of systems and planning requirements for delivering busy and successful events calendar on time and within budgets High level written communication skills and ability to use appropriate styles and formats in line with brand guidelines Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail; ability to recognise barriers and find effective ways to deal with them Ability to be proactive and act upon opportunities to achieve goals Strong level of creativity and innovation; drawing on a range of sources to identify new and efficient ways of doing things Passionate about planning and executing events and enhancing organisational brand and values About Us: We are proud to be a leading education provider with a strong reputation for delivering high quality educational outcomes.
