Marketing Director

The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategies of AEMG, with a specific focus on recruitment and transfer targets for Sino-foreign educational programs.
This role requires close collaboration with Chinese partners and various marketing channels to effectively promote AEMG's joint education programs.
The Marketing Director will lead the marketing team, ensuring that all efforts are aligned with AEMG's business objectives, and drive successful student recruitment and retention.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support student recruitment, transfers, and overall brand positioning of AEMG's Sino-foreign educational programs.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external Global and Chinese partners to ensure alignment with recruitment goals and the dynamics of the Chinese education market.Identify key marketing channels, including digital, offline, and event-based approaches, to maximize outreach and recruitment impact.Marketing Campaign Management: Oversee the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness and engagement with potential students and partners.Coordinate closely with marketing and recruitment teams to ensure a cohesive message across all channels, including digital platforms, social media, and events.Track, analyse, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to meet recruitment/transfer targets.Collaboration with Chinese Partners: Establish and maintain strong relationships with Chinese educational institutions, their recruitment partners and agents as required, to enhance collaborative efforts in student recruitment.Ensure compliance with Chinese education policies and regulatory requirements for recruitment and program promotion.Work closely with Chinese partners to develop localized marketing campaigns that resonate with prospective students and families.Collaboration with Global Partners: Establish and maintain strong relationships with AEMG Global Partner universities, to enhance collaborative efforts in student recruitment.Ensure collateral used in recruitment and promotional activity is compliant with Global Partner requirements and approved by them for use.Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, providing direction, support, and professional development opportunities.Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the marketing department to drive team performance and achieve targets.Ensure that the team is well-versed in the latest trends in marketing and education, especially within the Sino-foreign program context.Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for recruitment and to stay ahead of industry trends, particularly within China's evolving education landscape.Analyse competitor marketing strategies and activities to ensure AEMG remains competitive in the market.Utilize data to inform strategic decisions and continuously improve marketing efforts.Budget Management: Manage the marketing department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve recruitment and brand awareness goals.Monitor expenditures and return on investment (ROI) for all marketing initiatives, making adjustments to optimise resource use.Key Selection Criteria: Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related field.
A Master's degree is preferred.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing and education, with a proven track record of success in recruitment and promotion in an international education context.In-depth understanding of the Chinese education market and the recruitment policies and challenges associated with transnational education.Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing marketing teams.Skills and Abilities: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, particularly in China.Expertise in digital marketing, including social media, SEO, content marketing, and data analysis.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.Personal Qualities: Results-driven, with a strong focus on achieving recruitment and business growth targets.Culturally aware and sensitive to the nuances of the Chinese market.Innovative, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
