Our Group's portfolio of businesses spans from global burger brand Wahlburgers to Australia's largest independent cinema chain, United Cinemas. We are on the cutting edge of fusing entertainment with food and beverage. Along with two fine dining venues and Manly's newest rooftop bar, Shore Beach Club, we are looking for a marketing assistant specializing in graphic design who is ready to come on this journey with us as we continue to build our suite of companies and take our ventures to even higher levels.
About the Role Our perfect candidate will conceptualize and deliver an exceptional and consistent brand experience. We are a small team in a family-inspired run business. We are looking for a candidate to join our team full time in an in-office role in the Sydney CBD. We are not searching for a remote role at this time. Annual salary $75,000-$85,000 dependent upon experience.
Qualifications and Skills: At least 2-3 years relevant experience (design and production of brochures, posters, logos, presentations, data visualization);Knowledge and understanding of best practice in design standards;Proficient in formatting and manipulating imagery and typography;Proficient knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator;Experience working with MSO tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.);Digital design skills that can be applied to responsive websites, eDMs, digital banners, and presentations;Display a high level of ideation and craft behind design concepts;Know how to output artwork for both print and digital specifications;Able to work within tight deadlines, flexible, and self-motivated.Examples of Expected Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Support marketing initiatives of the businesses by creative design input including event ephemera, invitations, social media, project displays, and exhibition panels;Support leadership, marketing, and architectural teams in preparing artwork, layouts, and templates for reports and other presentation materials;Ensure the practice has an up-to-date portfolio of work by maintaining currency of project pages and developing new project pages as directed;Maintain the digital image library in close collaboration with marketing and operations;Provide technical advice and assistance in the use of company standard design files and brand guidelines;Participate in regular discussions with the wider team to share work, innovate, organize workflow, and produce appropriate design solutions;Create outstanding visual designs and support brand concepts for all campaigns including brand collaborations, seasonal campaigns, promotions, LTO's, social media assets, retail assets, and print assets;Ensure all visual assets (digital & print) are consistent, compelling, and reflect the creative direction of the brand;Excellent graphic design and typography skills, always pushing the boundaries;Print design and creation of concepts is in response to a brief, including retail windows for key seasonal events and activations;Retouching and editing of photography and videography may be required.MOST IMPORTANTLY: Consistently uphold our mission, vision, philosophy, and core values through leadership by example.
