The Opportunity: Based at our Sydney office, and working cross-functionally with our marketing, club operations, and legal teams, the Barry's Marketing Coordinator takes responsibility for all aspects of our marketing activities including brand management, campaign development, content partnerships, and social media management.
This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-changing and collaborative environment, where people are enthusiastic, curious, and accountable.
This is a part-time opportunity offering 22.8 hours per week, with flexible days for the right candidate. Key duties and responsibilities: Brand management – ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels. Campaign management – plan and manage the annual marketing calendar across owned, earned, and paid channels. Plan and execute marketing campaigns to effectively support brand and business objectives. Corporate & Partnerships - Develop and execute strategic corporate and partnership marketing plans to drive business growth and enhance brand visibility. Stakeholder Management – Work with the Barry's team across AU (Sydney & Melbourne) and Singapore as well as leveraging Barry's Global for support. Social Media management and community engagement – manage and grow our social media presence across various platforms by creating organic, engaging content, with an eye for trends, as well as setting the trend. Content creation and management - collaborate with FLG's production team and Barry's team (Instructors) to create compelling and engaging digital content, including Reels, Posts, and Stories that resonate with Barry's target audience. Skills/Experience: Proven experience in a comparable marketing role. Strong social media skills and a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content that aligns with the brand's tone and voice. Proficiency in social media management tools, email marketing platforms, and content management systems. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions. Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas and campaigns. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
