Our elevator pitch for this roleRushfaster.com.au is an Australian e-commerce company with a 20-year history of supplying high-quality gear for urban and travel adventures. We're growing fast and building out our marketing and content team.
As content creator for Rushfaster, you'll create and edit video content for our YouTube channel as well as our other social channels - this includes presenting on screen. The content you produce will be for ads and organic placements. Additionally, you'll manage the schedule of social media and YouTube releases. Content will be impactful and engaging, embodying Rushfaster's brand values. Working remotely and at our studio in Zetland, you'll work with our Marketing team to drive our social media engagement, expand our community, and develop content that resonates with our audience.
What we need your help withKey responsibilities for this role include:
Content Studio: Organise and manage a streamlined content creation studio, optimising editing workflows to produce high-quality content quickly and efficiently.Drive Engagement & ROAS: Develop compelling ads and social media posts that drive engagement and convert views and follows into sales.Content Quality & Consistency: Maintain Rushfaster's voice across all content, ensuring high standards and alignment with brand style.Community Growth: Collaborate with the marketing team to grow social media followers and foster community engagement.Content Calendar Management: Keep a well-organised content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.About youInterest in our brands/categories: You should like the brands and categories we sell. That is, high-quality gear from passionate brands across the categories of carry, outdoors and accessories.
Proficient in Video Content Creation: Skilled in videography, lighting, audio and post-production software (e.g., Final Cut Pro).
Photography skills: While not mandatory, ideally you will have good photography and post production skills (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
Social Media Savvy: Knowledgeable in current trends and platform engagement techniques for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Creative & Detail-Oriented: Brings innovative ideas to the table, crafting unique content that aligns with Rushfaster's brand.
Strong Writer: Able to write clear, concise copy in Australian English, with an adaptable tone.
Time Management Pro: Balances multiple projects effectively, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

This role is hybrid WFH / work from the Zetland (Sydney) studio.
