About the Role
The role of the Marketing and Submissions Coordinator / Specialist is to implement marketing initiatives to support the Sydney Studio as well as helping to manage bid activities for significant, multi-million-dollar proposals.
This multi-faceted role requires the planning and management of marketing campaigns, special projects and support services for the Sydney Studio and the wider Woods Bagot's Global Studio.
**This is a 3-month fixed-term contract to commence in January 2025**
Key Responsibilities:
Submission and bid coordination and management including; advising and recommending best practice, coordinating team contributions, writing, desktop publishing and layout, content and editing, and graphic design.
All while ensuring you effectively promote the attributes of Woods Bagot's client offering.
Strategic planning and research for bid responses.
Graphic design and layout of proposals utilising Adobe InDesign.
Track and research project opportunities/conduct client research where required.
Conduct weekly media scanning, review relevant local print media, government and industry publications and websites.
Assess locally relevant client intelligence alerts and elevate opportunities when required.
Maintain brand consistency across all marketing collateral.
Responsible for maintenance of the studio marketing systems (image library, digital asset database).
Assist with regional and global support when necessary.
Assist with the implementation of targeted client engagement initiatives to support sector and business plan targets.
Assist with preparing materials and entries for awards.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will have a keen eye for detail and a way with words.
You can engage with key stakeholders at all levels of a business.
The ideal candidate will also have exceptional relationship-building skills and past experience working within a global professional services firm.
You will be able to Demonstrate:
3-5+ years' experience in a similar position.
Relevant degree in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design or Communications.
Creative thinking to produce new ideas and concepts to convey the design story in client submissions and presentations.
Proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop.
Ability to 'think outside the box' for imaginative bid layouts and graphic concepts.
Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
Understanding of architecture, interior design and design concepts is desirable.
Experience working within professional services-related industries is preferable.
Experience with coordinating and working alongside complex internal teams including senior Principals and Directors internally.
Previous experience in administrative work: maintaining collateral, updating CRM, etc.
Organised and methodical approach to bid writing and co-ordination.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and flexibly to coincide with deadlines (sometimes across time zones).
