Job DescriptionThe Marketing and Events Advisor will support the General Manager Marketing and Communications, Marketing Manager and wider Marketing and Communications Team to develop, advise and execute comprehensive marketing activities and events. This role will work closely with the Marketing Manager to support driving awareness and engagement strategies to achieve Disaster Relief Australia's (DRA's) mission and objectives.
This position requires a creative and strategic thinker who can contribute to the identification and prioritisation of key target audiences, develop effective messaging and content, as well as implement and analyse campaigns across a variety of communications channels. The Marketing and Events Advisor will require high level communication skills. This role works closely with other departments across DRA, as well as external vendors and partners to ensure alignment with organisational goals and consistency in brand positioning and messaging.
Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesSupport Marketing Management in the development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive marketing plans, campaigns and collateral to increase awareness and engagement of DRA and support volunteer recruitment activities.Support the Marketing Manager to identify and prioritise key target audiences, develop effective content, and implement campaigns across a variety of communications channels.Track, analyse and prepare regular reports on marketing metrics to continually improve marketing efforts and drive results.Work across departments within the organisation as well as external vendors and partners to produce marketing and promotional materials.Ensure all activities and collateral are in accordance with DRA's brand guidelines.Play an active role in the planning, coordination, management and administration of marketing events and supporting materials, working with both internal and external stakeholders.Produce content for and make regular updates to the companies external and internal facing websites to support marketing and communications activities.Utilise experience with automated marketing platforms and e-marketing services such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing, website management via WordPress, Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics to develop and support engagement initiatives.Coordinate and administer DRA's merchandising needs and online store for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistency and alignment with DRA's branding and values.Key RelationshipsThis position reports to the DRA Marketing Manager.
