Job Title: Marketing and Communications ManagerLocation: Melbourne, East YorkshireMain Purpose of the job:Develop a commercial marketing function that drives sales and increases brand awareness, promoting a professional customer focused approach that is focused on both the UK and Export.Main Responsibilities:To develop and implement the Sumo Marketing Strategy to support the business targets and strategy for growth.Develop the Sumo brand and ensure all internal, external and dealer promotional material are in line with brand values.To work alongside the Sales Team with the production of reports/presentations for UK and Export dealers and customers.To support the wider Sumo team with the organisation and execution of trade shows, customer activities and other on/off-site events. This may include travelling to/from such events to set-up, assist in the running of or break down afterwards. Occasional travel/overnight stays may be required.To devise/maintain/update Sumo promotional and sales support material for new and existing products and spares including product brochures, dealer packs and price lists.To develop and maintain the Dealer Portal and work with the Sales team to develop it as a communication tool for feedback and communication.Oversee dealer marketing support, to promote Sumo with externally organised campaigns, ensuring the Sumo brand is upheld within the dealership.To manage and maintain any/all digital/social media platforms on behalf of Sumo including utilisation of YouTube clips of machinery for sales promotion purposes.To liaise with external agencies and providers of services such as SEO/PR/Market data etc.To edit and circulate regular internal and external newsletters.To liaise with internal colleagues, across all functions, following up on the status of current projects and flagging or resolving queries as they arise.Skills and Experience:Graduate calibre. (Pref Agricultural background or experienced)Previous experience of a Marketing and or Communications/PR role and the ability to fit and work well within a close team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to influence decision makers.Previous experience of managing digital and social media as a tool.A proven ability to develop and manage relationships over the phone in a strong, confident, clear and polite manner.Experience using email creation software i.e. MailChimp.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise as/when necessary.A good level of systems and IT skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and experience with a CRM system/database would be beneficial.Experience in the organising/hosting of on/off-site events.Some experience knowledge of agri-business would be beneficial but not essential.Strong Presentational skills.For further information please contact ******
