Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications) Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Limited (DOBCEL) schools are located within a diverse and geographically extensive diocese extending across Western Victoria, from the Murray River to the Southern Ocean. DOBCEL provides governance to 57 schools and partners with them to promote Catholic identity, high quality learning and a culture of respectful and trusting relationships.
As the administrative arm of DOBCEL, Catholic Education Ballarat (CEB) provides support, service and leadership to Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in the Diocese of Ballarat.

About the Role Reporting to the Executive Director of Catholic Education Ballarat, this role provides specialist advice and support to the Executive Director and Directorate Team. The role will lead a small team to implement and improve DOBCEL's Marketing and Communications Strategies and provide support and advice to staff and schools in the Ballarat Diocese to promote the Catholic education brand and build a wider understanding of the values and strengths of our schools.
Key Responsibilities: Providing specialist advice and support to the Executive Director and Directorate team, as required, including the development of proactive media releases, media responses, speech writing, and production of communication support materials;Implement and enhance the Marketing and Communication Strategy;Supporting schools on promotion, media and communication matters and the sharing of best practices, including as a member of the DOBCEL Enrolment Maximisation Committee;Oversee the production of DOBCEL and CEB publications and online presence to drive optimal engagement and ensure brand presentation consistency with messaging and style guide;Providing management oversight of a small team, including the development of a teamwork plan and appropriate accountabilities.Benefits of this Role: Creative Leadership in Education: This role provides a unique chance to shape and promote the Catholic education brand, developing impactful campaigns and content that highlight the values and strengths of DOBCEL schools.
