About the Role: The Marketing, Trading and Shipping team are responsible for sales and trading of products (LNG, pipeline, gas, oil, carbon), new business origination (long term contracts) and marketing operations.
Marketing & Trading are currently seeking a Marketing Advisor to join their Perth based team.
Duties & Responsibilities: Some of the tasks and duties associated with this role include:
Assist in interactions with customers, understanding marketing and customer needs. Assist in pipeline management and value creation, including gas balancing and borrowing/loaning options negotiation. Develop strategies and submissions for government and industry regulations and manage operational compliance requirements. Conduct regular market updates on supply, demand, price, and customer contract terms to keep up to date with market requirements. Assist operations team in managing day-to-day pipeline gas nominations and allocations, following allocation and curtailment rules. Maintain supply and demand spreadsheets, including contract databases. Skills & Experience: 5+ years experience as a commercial and/or marketing professional in the oil & gas or energy industry Bachelors degree in engineering, finance, law or economics Experience working within large organisations and/or joint venture arrangements Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of stakeholders Highly developed organisational skills, attention to detail and time management skills Recognition & Reward: What you can expect from us:
