We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed communications professional to join our Campaigns and Projects team. In this role you will use your strategic communication skills to develop, coordinate and evaluate public relations, community education and marketing strategies. These exciting and challenging projects include elements of advertising, brand development and community education campaigns, events, publications, and promotional activities. Your varied portfolio of projects will involve writing communications and developing creative messaging suitable for multiple channels and audiences. You will need substantial experience working with different clients to craft compelling and engaging communications. Highly motivated and personable, you will have excellent interpersonal skills. You will use these in working collaboratively with colleagues across the Communications directorate and in providing high level advice and support to business units, regional offices, and schools. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will have the ability to multi-task as well as undertake high-level negotiation and consultation with both internal and external stakeholders. The Campaigns and Projects team are the campaign strategists, and creative and implementation experts within the Department of Education's Communications directorate. We provide high-level corporate communications, public relations and marketing strategies and services including: planning and delivering communication projects, products, campaigns, and events brand and reputation management providing public relations, marketing and events advice to schools and broader business areas engaging with external stakeholders to deliver market research, creative production, photography, videography and more.
