As part of the Global Product Design & Merchandising Team, you will work closely with Marketing & Sales to ensure the right product is available on FCB global websites and manage & deliver campaign & tactical activity for the Flight Centre Brand in Australia and New Zealand. You will be the expert on your local markets, its top-selling destinations and products, ensuring that the product delivered meets the marketing brief and our global product strategy. You will be data driven, providing reporting and insights into market performance, working alongside Global Product Designers to ensure competitiveness and identifying any market trends and opportunities.
Responsibilities In consultation with the designers, design the high-level product mix for campaigns for sign-off by the Team Leader / Market Lead. Coordinate the Campaign & Activity Calendar for Australia and New Zealand. Manage all local marketing campaigns & tactical activity, including set up, co-ordination, briefs, deadlines, checking product on the website and regular reporting measures. Represent our team and designers at Product to Marketing WBM, campaign briefs and retro meetings, where required. Source External Land, Sea, and Cruise (if applicable) Supplier deals for sufficient always on and campaign/tactical activity. Manage all content in the CMS for non FCH products on the local website. Ensure local website has sufficient and breadth of product on shelves for Holiday Pages, Interests and landing pages. Ensure air deals are priced accordingly with land packages for campaign and tactical activity. Regular data analysis and reporting of market sales and performance, including metrics such as overall search traffic, results set, quote, deposit and booking. Find and analyze market competitors that provide comparable deals to our offerings. Collaborate with FCB leaders, Global Product Designers and Marketing to review local market performance for Australia and New Zealand. Work closely with the Global Product Designers to ensure shelves are stocked on websites and assist them with any overflow required including campaign packages, updating &/or extending packages on a regular basis. The ability to work collaboratively whilst remote from key customers is imperative. Build key relationships with suppliers, tourism board, and Supply contracting teams. Who you are: Product design, delivery or Marketing background. Understanding of air GDS, cruise portals and FC Cruise highly desirable. Commercial experience (demonstrated business acumen and numeric reasoning, ability to build business cases). Product SME role (Contracting, Content Management, Curation).
