TRUCK & DOG DRIVER Main Duties/Responsibilities: Adopt best practice in relation to road maintenance and construction activities. Undertake regular maintenance checks on any assigned plant. Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, equipment and depot. Completion of relevant job paperwork including Daily Hire Dockets and/or Delivery Dockets. Carry out a variety of manual tasks associated with Company operations. Complete relevant safety and site-specific inductions. Adhere to company workplace health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures. Actively participate in ongoing training and self-development to achieve continuous improvement for yourself and the Company. Additionally, you may be required to conduct other duties as lawfully directed by the Supervisor or Manager. Desired Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of current Queensland HR class Heavy Vehicle Driver's License Statement of Attainment or Ticket/s for various construction plant Construction Industry Induction Card First Aid Training (not essential but desirable) 2 or more years' experience in a similar position/industry (or equivalent) Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of the National Vehicle Regulator regulations and requirements Taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others, complying with reasonable instruction and co-operating with Company policy and procedure Comply with required safety systems incorporating usage of Safe Work Method Statements Ability to work as part of a team, actively encouraging team working and recognising the role you play as part of the KDW Civil Team Ability to follow directions
