Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) Security Officers - HobartWe have multiple positions available for experienced Maritime Security Officers with a current MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) to develop their career in the Maritime sector in Hobart, Tasmania.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:General Maritime Security Duties inclusive of Traffic control, Gatehouse, Contractor escort, Screening & Mobile Patrol dutiesProvide excellent frontline customer serviceRisk identification, incident response and issue resolutionObserve, practice, and implement OHS practicesMonitor access points and ensure only authorized personnel enter designated areasConduct thorough security checks and screenings as per regulatory requirementsMaintain accurate records of all personnel movements and incidentsRespond promptly to security breaches and emergenciesCollaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholdersREQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:Must hold MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) and TSP (Transport Security Protection)Demonstrated knowledge of electronic security systems including CCTV & Electronic Access Control SystemsCurrent First Aid CertificateCurrent Driver's LicenseFull, unlimited Right-To-Work in AustraliaExceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication skillsProficient in working within a team environment and independentlySelf-directed and the ability to take initiativeIntermediate computer and administration skillsPhysically fit and able to walk/stand for long shifts - 12 HoursThe role is 24-7 and requires availability to work both day & night shiftsLOCATION: The position is located in Hobart, Tasmania.TAS License No: 21212
