Whitsunday Ocean Services is a family-owned and operated marine safety business based in Jubilee Pocket, QLD. We do all aspects of marine work including upholstery and cover work, specializing in inflatable boat covers. We have gained an excellent reputation for quality work and personalized service.

Due to an increase in work commitments, we are currently looking for multiple staff with skills in textile manufacturing. As we have varied custom work, we could utilize a sewing machinist, upholsterer, marine trimmer, or textile tradesperson in our team. Although ideally suited to someone with experience on industrial machines, we would be willing to consider applicants with domestic sewing machine experience willing to learn and develop their skills.

Successful applicants must:

Have experience in textile manufacturing with a willingness and interest to learn marine cover or cushion work.Exhibit excellent attention to detail and take pride in their work.Be able to work within a small team but also be able to work autonomously.Have a positive attitude.Happy to discuss roles and responsibilities based on skills and experience. We are happy to offer this position on either a full-time or part-time basis.
