Your next opportunity:


Due to continued growth within our business, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in Bendigo VIC.


As Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the production of asphalt to meet local and regional daily operations. All asphalt plants work day and night shifts to fulfil customer demand, servicing state and local governments, property developers, large, medium and small-scale projects, defense, airports, sea port, pavement construction and rehabilitation and maintenance.


Your day will involve:


Daily production meetings with contracting sales and team
Daily safety focus toolbox
Ensures all daily prestart are carried out in accordance with guidelines
Meets daily production targets
Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed daily
Ordering of raw materials to meet demand
Schedule maintenance days / shutdown plans
Ensure all periodical maintenance tasks are completed
Rostering of staff to meet production demands
Ensure all staff are trained in accordance with the training matrix


What are we looking for?


Experience in Fixed Plant Manufacturing, production and operations
Supervisory experience preferably within Asphalt or a similar industry
Engineering exposure or trade qualifications a plus.
Sound knowledge and understanding of HSEQ requirements
Strong written and verbal communication and intermediate MS Office skills
Knowledge of packaging processes
Front end loader and/or Forklift Licence (desirable)
Confined space and work at heights (desirable)
