The Role Our Salisbury site in Adelaide's northern suburbs manufactures a range of more than 78 milk and milk-based products.
This site is a combined production and distribution facility producing well-known brands such as Pura, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Feel Good; and distributes predominantly SA and NT, but also NSW and VIC.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader, and you will be responsible for ensuring all empty crate receival functions are carried out in an effective, efficient and timely manner and for delivering crates safely to Packaging, disposing of waste milk to shredder and unload crates trucks ensuring all safety related rules are followed 100% with COR compliance.
This role is a rotating day/afternoon position, working hours 06:30 – 15:00 and 14:30 – 23:00 Sunday to Friday.
You must be comfortable working these hours.
Responsibilities Ensuring Safety & Quality standards in the area are maintained in accordance with Bega policies.
Operation of machinery and equipment's including complex, highly automated systems and manual batching & crate packing General housekeeping & cleaning is required to quality standard Responsible for receival, storage, & use of incoming raw milk as well as the replenishment of packaging stock Accurate completion and recording of all production related documentation, fully in compliance with HACCP and GMP About you Experience in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry in a similar role Valid forklift licence and competent forklift operator Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work autonomously.
