Manufacturing Operations Manager (Food Manufacturing)

A global, investing FMCG Food Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operations Manager to manage the safe, efficient and cost-effectiveness of the factory production, ensuring that all scheduled production plans are delivered on time and in full and whilst all performance related KPIs are delivered in an effective and profitable manner.
Reporting into the site GM, this Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for upskilling and delivering through their team within a developing and investing site.
The role will be strategic / troubleshooting as well as hands on.
This role will require FMCG Food manufacturing experience.
Manufacturing Operations Manager responsibilities include: Actively promote a safety & wellbeing culture within the department and ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are met by every team member.
Drive performance on all of the recognised business KPI's.
Promote the development and implementation of a culture of continuous improvement of quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.
Ensure product quality standards are continually met and the site is always 'audit ready'.
To foster high levels of motivation and morale within the team through sound leadership and effective employee communication and apply engagement strategy consistently.
Develop the skills of the management team and operational teams Strive to multi skill the team for operational efficiencies.
Ensure, through maintaining the appropriate staffing levels and the development of adequate skills cover, that the ability to produce to standard performance is maintained.
Initiate & manage change within the business to provide an environment that supports the delivery of short, medium and long term objectives.
Ensure excellent customer service through management of the site supply planning and provision of raw materials You will be a Manufacturing Operations Manager used to delivering through a team in an FMCG Food Manufacturing environment.
