Join a highly successful Sydney hotel as a Financial Business and Support Manager, where you will play a critical operational finance role, working closely with the General Manager and Department Managers to drive financial success.
Key Responsibilities Provide constant business and financial support to the General Manager and department heads.Building a strong relationship with owning company.Maintain and implement robust internal control systems for the hotel.Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.Monitor and manage revenue, expenses, and working capital within the approved budget framework.Engage in financial planning and analysis, including budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.Deliver Profit & Loss reports, maintain the General Ledger, and perform balance sheet reconciliations.Oversee payroll controls, wage disbursements, and compliance with tax and employment legislation.Develop and cross-train accounting staff to foster career growth.What We're Looking For Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role.Knowledge of Opera PMS and/or Sun System is highly desirable.Strong ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.Passion for numbers, reporting, and driving operational efficiency.Excellent communication and time management skills.Thrives in a fast-paced environment.What's in It for You?
