Managing Consultant (Expression of Interest - Melbourne)The Managing Consultant will play a critical role within Logicalis' Consulting & Advisory Practice, focusing on scoping, selling, and delivering consulting engagements. These engagements span strategies, roadmaps, and assessments across a variety of technologies, including whole of business IT Strategies as well as more specific engagements around connectivity, modern workplace, hybrid cloud, and cybersecurity.
The Managing Consultant is pivotal in driving strategic client engagements and building long-term relationships with Logicalis' key clients. This role involves complex stakeholder management and delivery of high-quality outcomes that support business transformation and growth initiatives for our clients.

Requirements Scoping and selling consulting engagements across the Logicalis product offeringsLeading or co-delivering strategic consulting services, including strategies, roadmaps, and assessmentsSupporting the sales function of Logicalis for both consulting and professional/managed services customer requirementsEngaging with senior stakeholders to gather complex requirements and ensure alignment with business objectivesDeveloping high-quality artifacts such as strategy documents, architecture blueprints/reference architectures, and assessment reportsBuilding and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients to foster repeat businessManaging and forecasting project budgets, ensuring engagements are delivered within financial targetsConducting return on investment (ROI) analysis for client projects to justify business cases and investmentsLeading high-level solution architecture and business requirements gathering workshops and teams depending on client requirementsCollaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction across complex multi-domain transformation projectsManaging risks, issues, and ensuring compliance with client expectations and internal processesWhat you will bring At least 10 years of IT leadership experience, with a focus on consulting, strategic IT projects, and stakeholder managementExperience in selling and delivering complex consulting engagements, particularly in the areas of connectivity, cloud, modern workplace, and cybersecurity OR IT management experience with similar traitsStrong understanding of technology trends and the ability to translate business needs into technology solutionsExpertise in developing IT strategies, roadmaps, and conducting assessmentsDemonstrated experience in managing senior client relationships and engaging with C-level stakeholdersExcellent communication skills, with a track record of producing high-quality documentation, presentations and delivering to a variety of audiences including business stakeholders, technical stakeholders and C-level stakeholdersStrong financial acumen, with the ability to manage project budgets, financial forecasting, and ROI analysisExperience in information management architecture, data management and analyticsExperience with conceptual solution architecture and gathering complex business requirementsAbility to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrentlyProblem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with a strong attention to detailKnowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and advanced analyticsNice to have's MBA or relevant leadership coursesFamiliarity with industry frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST, E8Prior experience working in a professional services environmentUnderstanding of specific industry challenges, especially in regulated sectors like healthcare, energy, logistics, local government, K-12 or higher educationOur promise to our employees – Belong Grow and Thrive is our commitment to creating an environment that is inclusive to all, supports your professional and personal development and offers an environment where you can do life and work the way it works for you.
