The Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP) is an independent statutory authority responsible for preparing and conducting criminal prosecutions in Victoria on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Matters prosecuted by the DPP and the OPP involve serious crimes or matters that are of significance to the fair and effective operation of the Victorian criminal justice system.
The OPP consists of the Solicitor for Public Prosecutions and a staff of approximately 475 providing legal and corporate support to the DPP, the Chief Crown Prosecutor and Crown Prosecutors in the exercise of their independent roles in the criminal justice system.
We are seeking a Managing Advisor, People & Culture to join our dynamic team.
This role will provide strategic and operational advisory services to senior management, enhancing our people and culture initiatives.
The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team and collaborate with various stakeholders to develop tailored solutions that align with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities: Forge influential partnerships with leaders to provide strategic advice and operational support.Lead the Advisory team, ensuring effective delivery of P&C services.Represent the P&C team at local and organisational forums.Manage workforce planning initiatives, including change management and employee relations matters.Provide guidance on complex workplace issues and facilitate resolutions.Develop and implement training and information sessions to foster shared learning.Key Selection Criteria: Proven experience in workforce planning and organisational change management.Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.Extensive experience in managing complex employee relations matters.Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, including the preparation of high-level reports.Tertiary qualifications in HR or related fields.A minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR management role.Knowledge of Victorian Public Sector processes and employee relations.Apply Now To apply, you will need to submit a resume and cover letter.
