How will I help?
You will join a team of risk professionals to provide high quality first line risk advice to Business Lending, to uplift their ability to proactively identify, manage, mitigate and monitor risks - focusing on incident and issues management, control assessments and control environment uplift and obligations management. The role will see you reporting into the Executive Manager of Village Advice.
You will play a key role in supporting Business Lending to:
Build a strong risk culture and uplift risk maturity.Develop durable and effective solutions for resolving risk and control issues and incidents.Manage the control environment in accordance with policies.Meet regulatory obligations.Operate within risk appetite of the business.Develop risk management pathways that helps achieve business objectives.You will have opportunities to gain experience in provision of risk advice against a broad spectrum of domains including:
Business Lending products, product management and governance.Pricing and capital management.Prudential obligations requirements.Credit optimisation and process efficiency uplift.Data management and governance.Third party supplier management and governance.Marketing and business growth strategies.What do I need?
Ideally 5+ years' experience in a large complex organisation, primarily within the financial services industry.
To be successful in this role, you have some experience in several of the following areas:
Managing issues and incidents to a successful outcome.Testing design and operating effectiveness of controls.Think critically and have an ability to constructively challenge.Communicating, influencing and negotiating with various stakeholders.Risk and regulatory landscape, business knowledge and operational risk and compliance frameworks.Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with stakeholders and the team.Balance multiple priorities and deliver timely results.Ability to adapt and achieve objectives in a dynamic environment.How do I apply?
