Waratah-Wynyard Council and Circular Head Council has an exciting opportunity available for a Manager Tourism and Corporate Communication!
The Opportunity
The Manager Tourism and Corporate Communications is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team across both Waratah-Wynyard and Circular Head Councils. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of tourism strategies, leading and managing both Councils' media and communications activity and leading and managing operations of the Wonders of Wynyard Exhibition Centre and the Circular Head Visitor Information Centre.
Essential Knowledge and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Tertiary or equivalent qualifications and experience in Tourism, Communications, or related field.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating a team and supporting colleagues.
Developing relationships across a broad range of regional, industry, and government stakeholders.
Understanding of contemporary tourism and corporate communication issues, strategies, and opportunities.
