We are seeking an experienced Head of Communications to lead the development and execution of our internal and external communications strategies, public relations and media engagement.
In this key leadership role, you will guide a dedicated team of communications professionals, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
Your ability to communicate complex issues with clarity and confidence will be crucial to maintaining our reputation, supporting our leadership team and engaging with the media and community.

You'll Need

Experience & Knowledge:

Proven track record in developing and executing communications strategies that yield measurable outcomes, particularly within organisations subject to public scrutiny and governance requirements.
Experience leading successful communications teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
High-level digital communications skills, including overseeing the creation of impactful content across multiple platforms.
Knowledge or exposure to the Australian energy sector or energy transition issues is highly desirable.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

Qualifications in Communications, Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Public Relations or related discipline accompanied by significant experience in a similar role.
Proficient in common and best practice communications tools, frameworks and methodology.
Demonstrated advanced writing skills and the ability to prepare and manage communications materials tailored towards diverse stakeholders.

Marinus Link is a proposed undersea and underground electricity and data interconnector between North West Tasmania and the Latrobe Valley in Victoria.
Marinus Link will improve the connection between Tasmania and the national grid.
It will enable the flow of more electricity in both directions, delivering low-cost, reliable and clean energy for customers in the National Electricity Market.
Marinus Link is currently in planning and development, known as the project's 'Design and Approvals' phase.
