But enough about us, let's talk about you We are in the market for an experienced and qualified Civil Engineering professional, you are passionate about your profession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge. As Manager Technical Services, you will lead and support a talented team of professionals to deliver subdivision and development functions, facilities management and development of related engineering projects, as well as ensuring the survey, design, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure meet the requirements of the City of Mandurah.

You are friendly, supportive and actively listen to the needs of others.You enjoy working with people, can build strong relationships and are open to the opinions of others.You set challenging but realistic goals, reflect and learn from experiences and problem solve to get the job done.You provide professional engineering expertise, guidance and team leadership in the operation of the Engineering Development, Facilities Management and Survey Services teams.You are able to prepare and manage infrastructure engineering programs and projects to achieve objectives within time, cost and quality requirements.You can effectively monitor, interpret and analyse asset management data captured and stored within Council's information system to ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with audit requirements.You can provide leadership, advice and support to assist in the planning and design of road safety measures, traffic management and transport related issues.What can you bring to the team? Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.Experience in a senior management role.Highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including experience with people management.Local Government experience (desirable)The finer details This permanent full-time position attracts a negotiated salary of up to $180,000 (inclusive of car allowance) plus superannuation, dependent on qualifications and experience.
