Two exciting opportunities are available for high performing individuals to join the Engineering & Technology branch of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in the role of Manager (Systems). Each manager will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in strategic planning and delivery of innovative systems that improve the safety of all road users, collaborating with internal and external partners.

ResponsibilitiesAs Manager (Systems), you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in strategic planning and delivery of innovative systems that improve the safety of all road users. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Oversee multi-disciplinary teams responsible for acquiring, implementing, and supporting systems. Ensure alignment with departmental priorities and best practices.Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations to ensure the delivery of value for money services and products.Provide strategic and expert advice and lead the development of high-level briefs, submissions, operational plans and recommendations, and analyse risks impacting projects and business operations for continuity and program integrity.Lead project teams in research, design, development, and change management efforts to meet business requirements. Innovate and redefine standards and processes.Liaise and advise with key internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to security issues and implications relating to the innovative use of technology.We recognise and celebrate that everyone is unique and seek the applicant best suited to the role. RequirementsTo thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
