About the Role As the Manager Sustainable Environments, you will join the Senior Leadership Team to deliver key actions from the Shire's Environmental Sustainability Strategy and Climate Change Action Plan.
You will oversee waste services, including kerbside collection and landfill rehabilitation, while leading initiatives to create a circular economy.
Reporting to the General Manager Infrastructure and Environment, you will work across the organization to build collaborative relationships and lead environmental change that benefits the Shire's future.
Candidate Profile We are looking for a proven leader with a background in environmental science, natural resource management, or sustainability.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in waste management, climate change adaptation, or environmental sustainability.
You should be skilled in building partnerships, leading strategic initiatives, and managing complex environmental projects.
A deep understanding of legislative and compliance frameworks is essential, along with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
