This role is designed to support the Education Excellence directorate across the development and implementation of all Student Engagement policies and procedures. This role would suit someone with substantial experience in leading and managing a school services or dispersed team or system.WHAT YOU WILL DOProvide leadership, mentorship, and support to team members, encouraging professional growth, accountability and high performance.Lead the strategic direction of the System and Support domain within the Student Engagement team and the implementation of related deliverables.Actively contribute to the Ed Ex directorate's MACS 2030 strategic responsibility areas, with a focus on providing expert leadership, advice and guidance on implementing and maintaining effective systems within the Student Engagement strategic programProvide expert advice and guidance on Student Engagement policies, procedures and practices to EdEx, SET and MACS leaders and staff.Ensure MACS policies and procedures demonstrate compliance with the legislative requirements of the Student Behaviour domainDevelop and maintain best practice understanding of educational trends, research, analysis and evidence, translating it into proposals that assist Student Engagement strategy, policy design and implementation.ABOUT YOUDemonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to lead, motivate and coach teams to deliver quality outcomes.Proven knowledge and deep understanding of legislative requirements, policy and procedures that govern education, learning and wellbeing in Catholic education.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present, produce high quality reports and briefings, and the ability to translate student engagement data insights and research into actionable strategies to inform and improve initiatives.Experience and expertise in providing timely and best practice advice to support critical decision-making within a complex and evolving environment, fostering partnerships with diverse stakeholders to achieve clear and explicit objectives.Excellent time management skills in prioritising and planning workloads in order to meet deadlines.Demonstrated ability to influence, exercise a high level of initiative, critically evaluate, and contribute new ideas and solutions at a strategic level.HOW TO APPLYPlease refer to the position description for further details about the role and the Key Selection Criteria.A cover letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria, limited to two pagesNote: MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.
