Ongoing Full-Time Opportunity Location: Eveleigh with flexible work options Competitive salary ranging from $139,787 to $161,663 plus super 35 hour work week plus Flex Leave Entitlements Fitness Passport unlocking access to 1500 fitness facilities About the role An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Sourcing Manager to join our growing Procurement team. This role plays a critical part in leading and managing the establishment and use of Construction Panels and other construction sourcing projects to deliver on business needs and value for money procurement outcomes. Your key duties include, but not limited to: Developing and implementing procurement plans and strategies to enhance stakeholder engagement, and challenge and motivate providers to optimise service outcomes. Partnering with stakeholders to develop innovative supply strategies by collaborating and understanding their requirements and priorities, and identifying where your role and assistance is needed. Leading negotiation on complex supply arrangements and contract issues to delivery effective and compliant outcomes. For further information please click here to view the role description. About you To be successful in the role, you will bring: Extensive relevant experience in managing and delivering sourcing and procurement services, preferably with construction sourcing experience. Exceptional communication skills to liaise with senior stakeholder on key issues. Expert negotiation and influential skills to advise from an informed and credit position. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Essential requirements of the role Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education. This option would allow the WWCC to naturally expire without further communication needed with the employee.
