This pivotal role involves supporting all divisions by conducting supplier governance and risk management activities through consistent, transparent and auditable processes.Our Supplier Governance Support (SGS) team is dedicated to maintaining compliance with supplier governance and risk standards, and supporting a broad spectrum of stakeholders within the group with their supplier management obligations. We are part of the office of the Chief Resilience Officer, a new team created to provide strategic and operational leadership to design, drive and maintain business resilience capability for all areas of the bank's Australian and global operations.Some of the key accountabilities are:Govern and facilitate Material and Major supplier Governance activitiesSupport, from end-to-end, supplier risk assessmentsManage, monitor and drive supplier compliance and governance to assure risk controls and issue managementWork collaboratively in a team of Managers and AssociatesProvide expert advice and support to business stakeholders on governance requirementsPerform governance activities as required to support business stakeholdersDevelop, manage and influence strong relationships with key stakeholdersChampion and embed supplier governance and risk management across the Group, while driving continuous improvementAssist to implement and advise stakeholders on regulatory and policy change initiativesDevelop, enhance and maintain reporting on Westpac's supplier risk and governance environmentWhat do I need?Highly effective stakeholder management, communication and influencing skillsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Strong ability to work within a changing regulatory environment and comfortable with ambiguityProficiency in supplier governance and risk management will be highly regardedIf you have proven experience across supplier governance and risk management then we would love to hear from you!
