Do work that matters We are looking for driven and talented individuals to join the Business Banking Compliance team on a six-month, fixed term contract. We're recruiting for a Manager and Senior Manager to join the team. These roles will be subject matter experts in the obligations and related policies, standards, and procedures relevant to Business Banking and are responsible for contributing to the execution of the Business Bank's compliance and risk management strategies. They'll be part of a high-performing team supporting our business in empowering our customers to achieve their goals. Key responsibilities include: Providing insightful advice to Business Banking product and distribution teams regarding regulatory and compliance obligations applicable to their business activities. Providing guidance and insights to Business Banking on Compliance Management best practices and various elements of the Compliance Management Framework and related policies, standards, and procedures. Investigating and overseeing Issue Management, Incident Management, Regulatory Change and Engagement, Risk and Controls, Obligations Management, and Compliance Reporting. Implementing and embedding framework changes across the Group by gaining appropriate buy-in and sign-off and building excellent stakeholder relationships. Undertaking analysis on the Compliance Management Framework and developing insights to support the reporting process. Through on-the-job training and coaching from your manager, developing your skills in persuading and influencing, being a credible partner, providing insights and judgment, and effective challenge. We're interested in hearing from people with: A comprehensive background in the Banking Industry. Sound knowledge of licensing and regulatory obligations, with specific knowledge in Business Banking desirable. Good insights and judgment, with a working knowledge of risks and issues that impact customers. Ability to deliver arguments logically and succinctly with a sincere and honest nature. Ability to build rapport with others by listening to their needs, interests, and expectations. Demonstrated experience engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated capability in improving customer outcomes through ideating and designing customer-centered solutions. Exceptional judgment in ambiguous situations.
