We are seeking a dynamic Manager to partner with Business & Wealth division first line teams to assist in the development of a strong, effective and enduring risk and controls management culture. You will monitor and manage the governance of Control Self Assessments, ensuring accuracy, alignment and adherence to Group policies and frameworks and support governance and hygiene reporting requirements in line with policy.

You will also: Support in the identification of process and control optimisation opportunities across the division, with particular focus on design and embedment of control assessment procedures for manual and automated controls. Partner with business stakeholders to provide training on risk and control management frameworks and standards, including targeted training on controls management where required. Contribute to design and implementation of an effective three lines of defense risk assurance model in line with industry standards. Provide appropriate control analysis and insight reporting to Business & Wealth Division Committees and Forums. Evaluate the adequacy of the automated control design and define effective testing approach by applying various IT control assessment techniques. Data reporting capability for in-house reporting (Excel, PowerBI, Cognos, PowerApps) and a keen interest in continued growth in risk analytics. Build and maintain strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders and obtain appropriate input into and support for on-going development and application of effective risk management practices. Proactively work with other members of the team to identify industry trends and best practice risk management approaches. Lead by example to foster the development and maintenance of a strong risk culture across the Group. Assist the team with other matters on an ad hoc basis. What's in it for me? What do I need? 5+ years' experience in controls assurance and risk and/or compliance related fields. Tertiary qualification - preferred. Relevant industry and other professional qualifications, e.g. CA, CISA, CIA, CFA, FRM, MBA - desirable. Financial Services Experience - preferred. Data analytics and/or automation experience - desirable. Big4 or professional assurance experience - desirable. What's it like to work there?
