About the role and where you will be working: The Manager of Retirement Villages is a pivotal role responsible for the overall reputational, operational and financial success of multiple Retirement Villages owned by SCC (WA) and those operated under management agreements. Integral to this role is the ability to form relationships with stakeholders, serving as a key liaison between Village Managers and residents. This role will work closely with our internal Teams such as Maintenance, Sales and Refurbishment, Marketing and Communications and the Client Experience teams ensuring seamless operations, extraordinary resident experiences and compliance with relevant regulations.
This position is located in our central office in Rivervale with various travel in the Perth Metro area only.
We'll also be asking you to: Provide oversight and support to Village Managers, fostering a collaborative environment. Ensure Village Managers are collecting and responding to feedback and act as a point of escalation for resident concerns and grievances, facilitating timely and effective resolutions. Work with Village Managers and The Client Experience Team to ensure positive resident experiences. Champion resident satisfaction by ensuring the provision of high-quality services and amenities, promoting a sense of connection and community. Oversee property maintenance and upkeep in collaboration with the Asset and Infrastructure team, ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment for residents. Manage operational and capital budgets for the villages, monitoring financial performance and implementing corrective actions when needed. Ensure compliance with village rules, lease agreements, and retirement village legislation. Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies associated with village operations. About you: Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar role, preferably with a proven track record of managing multiple locations successfully.
To be considered for this role, you'll need: Demonstrated ability to follow risk management strategies, identify and report hazards and adhere to work health and safety policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to operationalise strategic direction by developing and implementing plans, policies and services that support operational objectives. Ability to drive change and business improvements in collaboration with key stakeholders. Well developed budgeting and financial management skills.
