Job Description We are looking for a Manager, Regulatory Reporting & Treasury to join our Finance, Reporting & Control team.
This role supports the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Control by overseeing the preparation, submission, and accuracy of all regulatory financial reporting across Cuscal.
This is a highly visible role in the business and will be responsible for maintaining an effective and robust risk and control culture around Finance's regulatory and treasury functions.
The responsibilities in this role sit across four key areas:  1) Regulatory Reporting  Oversight of the preparation and submission of Group Finance's APR regulatory reports in accordance with Cuscal's requirements as an ADI;   Responsibility for preparation of internal reporting to support management in assessing the regulatory impact of decision making (e.g.
ALCO committee reporting, Board committee papers specific to Prudential requirements);  Balance Sheet Management and forecasting as it relates to Regulatory Capital ratios;  Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the bank's reporting framework and practices;  Collaborate with finance, risk management, and compliance teams to gather and validate data necessary for reporting;   Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the regulatory reporting process and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations;  Support the Financial Controller in the delivery of the Group Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Plan (ICAAP) Summary Statement;   Identification, measuring and monitoring of limits under Prudential Standards (e.g.
APS 110/111 Capital, APS 221/222 exposures);  2) Financial Analysis  Provide analysis to the Finance and Risk teams on regulatory impacts of business decisions;   Conduct detailed analyses of regulatory reports to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement  3) Financial Control & Treasury  Review of daily Treasury control functions (P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, and reconciliations);    Production of monthly, half year and year end Board and Board Audit Committee reporting, as it relates to the Regulatory Reporting and Treasury function;  4) Audit  Support audits (APS 310 and Financial/Year-end) and regulatory reviews by providing necessary documentation and explanations;   Support the Financial Controller in any APS 310 issues management & resolution;  Qualifications About You  To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience: Essential:  Minimum 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services sector   Experience producing financial result analysis for management    Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices (i.e.
the '3 lines of defence');   Strong knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks   Extensive proficiency in financial reporting software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, regulatory reporting systems).
