UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families View all jobsLocation: The Wesley Hospital - AuchenflowerApplications Close: 10th of January 2025Your part in The Wesley HospitalAs one of the Managers of Quality and Safety within one of UnitingCare's Hospitals, you will be responsible for the application of the UnitingCare Hospitals Clinical Governance Framework and strategic plan across all services to ensure optimal performance within regulatory and compliance requirements and to support the culture of Continuous Quality Improvement.
This includes providing strong leadership for the development of related systems and processes, as well as developing a robust mechanism for sharing learnings across the organisation in line with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.Reporting directly to the General Manager of Clinical Governance and Director of Clinical Services, you will be working alongside the other hospitals' Quality Managers.
You will be assisting with the implementation of integrated risk and quality management systems and assurance processes at the Hospitals in accordance with the UnitingCare risk and quality management system requirements.Responsibilities:Support the development and implementation of contemporary care and clinical governance systems and processes to deliver best practice clinical care in line with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.Achieve the quality and risk management objectives for the hospital and Clinical Governance Strategic Plan.Drive continuous operational quality and safety improvement through strategy execution, KPI governance, and process change.Maintain effective networks and partnering relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and represent UnitingCare Hospitals in internal groups and networks and external organisations, as required.What makes a difference for us?Tertiary Qualifications in Nursing or other relevant discipline or equivalent Health Industry experience.Demonstrated expert knowledge and/or clinical experience in service delivery and quality systems in hospital sectors.High level knowledge of relevant regulatory systems and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.Proven knowledge of contemporary continuous quality improvement practices and care and clinical governance practices.Demonstrated competence in analytics of care and clinical indicators with ability to deliver tangible outcomes.Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care delivery.Demonstrated high level effective interpersonal and written communication skills.Ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.Make a meaningful difference with The Wesley HospitalWe're looking for someone who wants to make the world a little better through small moments that leave big impacts.
