About the Role Main Roads is seeking a committed and driven individual to join its Pilbara region as Manager Project Delivery, based in our South Hedland office. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a collaborative and high performing delivery management team within a leading infrastructure and network management organisation.
The Manager Project Delivery will be responsible for managing the delivery of large infrastructure, minor improvements and traffic related projects/contracts for a range of asset classes (roads and structures) across the Pilbara network. The role also requires the individual to be Superintendent on multiple concurrent projects, provide subject matter expertise and technical advice on project and contract management practices, update Delivery Plans and resource schedules and mentor junior staff.
About You This is a critical, leadership role within our Pilbara Region. We need someone with extensive management skills and knowledge in road and/or bridge design, construction and maintenance, as well as project and contract management.
Our customers are important to us, hence your ability to develop positive, professional relationships will be well utilised when engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Considering the nature of the position, your leadership capabilities in particular managing financial, technological, physical and other resources along with managing employee behaviour, performance and development coupled with the capacity to provide high level technical advice is crucial to your success in this role.
