Como Engineers is currently recruiting for an experienced, personable and dynamic Manager – Project Delivery to join its West Perth team on a full-time basis.
The role holds ultimate accountability for the performance of Como's project delivery group. It will report to Como's General Manager – Engineering and Projects, and will see the successful candidate coordinating and managing Como's project managers and project engineers.
Como Engineers is a privately owned company that has successfully provided engineering, construction and commissioning services to the mineral processing industry since 1986.
Our team includes experienced metallurgists and process experts; engineers and designers; construction, commissioning and project management personnel.
We offer our clients a complete suite of services across the project lifecycle from feasibility studies through engineering and design to self-performed fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
About the RoleThe key accountabilities of the role will include:
Leadership, coordination and management of the project delivery group to achieve the right quality, risk, cost and schedule performance across projects and scopes of supply.Fostering and facilitating growth in relation to Como's work health and safety (WHS) culture, processes and tools; taking the lead in relation to formal risk management processes; and supporting team members to understand, implement and comply with Como's WHS systems.Providing effective commercial decision making; taking ownership for the development, negotiation and administration of key contracts.Contribution to, peer review and enhancement of key deliverables/templates such as execution plans, schedules, cost estimates, and project budgets.Interfacing and coordination of priorities with Como's studies team, engineering and design teams, and its business development initiatives.Appropriate improvement of project initiation, delivery and closeout processes; identification and delivery of fit-for-purpose growth initiatives.Team mentorship, development, and shaping.The following applicant requirements apply:
