Manager Procurement, Clerk 9/10, Wollongong We are looking for a natural collaborator and well organised individual to lead procurement activities for the NSW State Emergency Service (SES). About the opportunityAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced procurement professional to join a small and energetic team to support the procurement of goods and services for the SES. The Manager Procurement is a senior member of the SES Procurement team, responsible for ensuring effective procurement and administration of key strategic projects for the agency, including: Preparation of procurement documentation, including strategies, specifications and contracts; Undertaking procurement processes such as tenders and requests for quotation; and Management of contracts, including performance monitoring and reviews. The Manager Procurement reports directly to the Senior Manager Procurement & Logistics (CPO). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in management of complex procurements. Previous experience in NSW Government procurement, and/or in-depth knowledge of the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework would be advantageous.
