Perhaps you're one of them.About the roleReporting to the Principal, the Manager plays a pivotal role in creating value and driving improvements for clients by providing comprehensive advisory services.This role involves advising clients on a range of areas including asset protection, business performance, business reporting, accounting and taxation management, wealth protection, and general change management. In particular, the Manager will possess high-level tax advisory expertise, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and delivering tailored tax solutions to meet complex client needs.As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing a client portfolio, overseeing workflow management among direct reports, coordinating tax lodgement lists, and providing coaching and mentoring to junior staff members. Additionally, you will play a key role in building and nurturing meaningful relationships with clients, fostering client loyalty and satisfaction.Key responsibilitiesPrepare financial statements, activity statements, and tax returns across various entity types.Deliver tax planning advice and stay updated on legislative changes.Analyse financial data to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement.Provide high-level tax advisory services to support the team and clients, leveraging this expertise as a Certified Tax Advisor.Manage a $600k+ client portfolio, fostering long-term relationships built on trust and reliability.Identify opportunities to grow the client base and contribute to new business proposals.Mentor, coach, and supervise junior staff, fostering their development.Oversee workflows, conduct reviews, and support recruitment and training.Enhance systems and processes for efficiency and compliance.Utilise tools like Xero and other accounting software to deliver excellence.Provide tailored accounting and advisory services, responding to client queries and offering actionable insights.Proactively identify opportunities to grow client pipelines and contribute to proposals.Who we're afterHere are the key qualifications, skills and personal attributes we're looking for.
