Base salary will be in the range $111,154 - $124,619 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8).
As a member of the Pre-Award management team, you will provide tailored advice and guidance to researchers to identify and apply for relevant competitive research grants/funding schemes.

In this critical leadership role, you will lead a team of 4-5 grant officers, dedicated to supporting researchers in securing funding for ground-breaking research at UQ. This hands-on management position involves contributing to the daily operations of the team while supporting the broader leadership within the Research Office.

This role emphasises collaboration across the University, delivering high-quality, user-friendly client service, mentoring and developing team members and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key responsibilities will include: Lead a team of Grants Officers and work collaboratively across the Pre-Award function to support team goals.Co-ordinate the delivery of a specialist pre-award service in accordance with University policies, procedures, and strategic priorities.Provide high-level support servicing complex matters within their area of specialisation and is the first point of escalation for less experienced staff working within the area.Provide strategic support to senior management, planning, and working groups in relation to the area of specialisation.Build and sustain partnerships and networks with other business units, functional areas, internal and external stakeholders, including contributing to projects and cross-functional initiatives.About UQAs part of the UQ community, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.
