The Media and PR Manager will provide strategic communications advice and tactical execution on projects as well as proactive and reactive media relations.

What you'll do Lead the development and delivery of communication plans to support and positively promote Woolworths Group initiatives.
Provide strategic media advice to manage reputation and risk
Develop and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders positively influencing business decisions to maximise community trust and enhance our reputation
Media focal point for key projects/areas of responsibility including drafting and clearing media responses with key internal stakeholders
Closely monitor media, stakeholder and regulatory landscape to identify and share emerging opportunities and risks with key stakeholders
What you'll bring 6+ years of Public Relations and Media Engagement experience - agency or in-houseAbility to balance multiple priorities and deliver results within strict deadlines, including practical knowledge and experience working within the national 24-hour media cycle
Exceptional relationship-building capabilities, managing stakeholders and agency 
Ability to contribute to the development of overall communications strategy, key short, medium and long term communications plans
A genuine self starter who proactively seeks new opportunities and better ways of doing thing
